Q1. ‘Grow more trees to reduce pollution.’ Write an article in 150-200 words on the topic given above for your school magazine.
Grow More Trees to Reduce Pollution
“Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky.”
Trees and plants are one of the main reasons why mankind came into existence. The importance of planting trees has been emphasized time and again. This is because of the numerous benefits they offer.
They make the world a better place to live in. They exhale oxygen and inhale carbon dioxide to maintain the ecological balance in the environment. They also absorb all the harmful gases and give us fresh air to breathe.
Trees build a sheet to protect us from the harmful ultraviolet rays. Not only this, they serve as a habitat for birds and various species of animals. This is not it. Trees help in controlling water pollution and preventing soil erosion.
The places inhabited by large numbers of trees are quite cooler compared to the concrete jungles that cannot do without air conditioners. Unfortunately, urbanization is leading to the clearing of forests and parks despite the numerous benefits they offer. People come here for morning walks, evening strolls, yoga sessions, and laughter therapy. These also serve as a safe place for the kids to play and socialize. The only way left to preserve them and reap these benefits is by growing them at a faster rate.
As a Chinese proverb states, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” So do your bit and make this place more beautiful.

Festivals of India
Festivals are really important in one’s life as they increase peace and happiness among all of us.They spread joy everywhere. As we know there are many religious festivals which are celebrated in the world . However, India is one of the country where a lot of festivals are celebrated regularly .
There are many festivals which are most popular in India like Diwali,Holi and so on which are celebrated regularly in India every year. These festivals are mostly celebrated by Hindus together with joy and happiness. Many famous stories are related to these festivals due to which these festivals happen in India.
In ancient time people celebrate festivals together with love and happiness but these days no one have such affection and love towards their families and family members. People not want to celebrate any festival with their families. Now these days people forget their culture.
The main problem is that no one want to live together, today’s people are selfish . They live to want alone. No one want to have a joint family because they all have to spent a lot of money on festivals . There is nothing these days same as old days.
It may be changed. Most of our grandparents take stress and suffer by many disease because their children do not want to live with them, not to celebrate any festival with them. This all cause a lot of pain to our prandparents.
This all should be stopped in India as soon as possible. Today’s children have no right to play with the emotions of their parents. Infact, the real happiness lies in family. It is also said that we all are together so no one break us. If we are finasionally weak it doesn’t matter but if we all are together so nothing is in this world to compare with that.
In short, festivals fill our lives with colour and enthusiasm. They help people to come closer every year and eliminate hatred among all. So, festivals are most important in life .
