Captain Amarinder Singh Took an Oath as a Chief Minister of Punjab Today

Congress selected Captain Amarinder Singh as the candidate for the post of Chief Minister. After the grand success in the Legislative Assembly in Punjab, the day came when Captain Amarinder Singh was sworn as a Punjab Chief Minister today.

In the last Month, Legislative Assembly elections were held in Punjab, Goa, Manipur, Uttar Khand, and Uttar Pradesh. And in Punjab, Congress Party got an emphatic win in the Assembly elections.

After Captain Amarinder Singh was swarm as a chief Minister, Eight cabinet ministers were also sworn.

Captain Amarinder Singh, the Congress party’s projected chief ministerial candidate won in the assembly election from Patiala Seat.

In the Assembly election in Punjab, Congress Party won 77 of 117 seat credits of which goes to Captain Amrinder Singh’s election strategies.

Chief minister Amrinder Singh chose the time of 10.16 is for taking the oath as a Chief Minister. As per the sources, the time was considered auspicious.

During the oath event, the cabinet ministers who followed Amarinder Singh, include Navjot Singh Sidhu, Manpreet Badal, Charanjit Channi, Brahm Mohindra, Rana Gurjit, and Tripat Bajwa; Razia Sultana and Aruna Choudhary.

Former Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi along with other senior leaders of Congress attended the oath ceremony.

Governor VP Singh Badnore administered the oath event of office and secrecy to Captain Amarinder Singh at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh.

Punjab has an extremely serious problem with drug addiction. Chief Minister Amrinder said to take steps to tackle the problem.
